Revd Sarah enjoys a star-studded St David's celebration at No. 10

Every year No 10 Downing Street hosts a St David’s Day reception and Rev’d Sarah Rosser was invited to attend this year’s event.

Catherine Fookes MP for Monmouthshire invited Sarah to acknowledge the ministry she had been doing in the communities in and around Raglan, particularly with hidden deprivation and loneliness.

Sarah says, “I was very surprised and humbled to receive an invitation to Downing Street and I had no idea what to expect. It was a lovely evening which celebrated all things Welsh – including the music, catering, and the small number of exhibitors. I enjoyed chatting with a number of like-minded people from all across Wales, who shared their ideas and stories of supporting local communities.

"I was fortunate to also meet the Prime Minister, as well as some familiar faces from the acting and rugby world – which I admit left me a little starstruck! But I have come away inspired to reach out in new ways to the community where I am now ministering.”
