Stewardship - too important to ignore
As Christians we are stewards of all the wonderful gifts entrusted to us by God and we are called to use those gifts wisely and generously. It’s a subject we’re often afraid to discuss as people assume that stewardship is just about asking for money or looking to burden people with extra things to do, but it’s an important part of our discipleship as we recognise God in every part of our lives and we respond to his love, grace and generosity.
It’s a subject that needs to be considered, taught about and prayed about.
There are an enormous amount of resources available to help which you will hopefully find helpful.
Bible Verses
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4: 10
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9: 6,7

Stewardship is too important to ignore and the main message has to be ‘don’t be afraid to talk about it’.
