Scam email alert

We have been made aware of a phishing email currently in circulation entitled "How Small Steps Can Be Accomplished."

There are several variations of this email, but it commonly appears as an invitation from The Most Reverend Cherry Vann, Archbishop of Wales, to speak at a conference being hosted at Newport Cathedral.

Please be aware that this email is not legitimate and should be treated as a phishing attempt.

If you receive this email:

• Do not click on any links or open any attachments.
• Block the sender in your email client. Open the email, click the Block option in the top-right corner, and select Block Sender.
• Delete the email from your inbox and then remove it from your Deleted Items folder.
