The Diocesan Conference is the main decision-making body of the Diocese of Monmouth. The format typically includes:Worship led by a Ministry Area to begin the day in prayer and unityReports on the strategic and financial life of the dioceseQuestions and discussion on any aspect of diocesan businessMotions brought forward for debate and decisionElections to diocesan and provincial committees (voted on in advance, with results announced at Conference)A themed session, often featuring a keynote speaker or interactive activityRecent themes have included Welcome (2023) and Our Values (2024)—each reinforcing the culture we are building together.Why It MattersConference is where the whole diocese has a voice.
