Stewardship: Living as Thankful and Generous People

Stewardship is the Gospel in action. It is our faithful response to God’s grace through how we live, give, and serve. As stewards, we are not owners but guardians of the many gifts God has entrusted to us, called to use them wisely and generously.

Christian stewardship goes beyond finances; it’s a way of life rooted in gratitude and shaped by love. It recognises that we all have different gifts and talents, but empowers us to proclaim the Good News, serve others with compassion, and live out the Five Marks of Mission. Money and the care of our buildings are important, but living out the gospel through our words and actions is essential.

As 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us:

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
