Four of our churches have been shortlisted in a competition to find the nation’s Favourite Place of Worship.
Organised by National Churches Trust, the shortlisted entries were announced by newsreader Huw Edwards at a recent event in Cardiff.
‘Sacred Wales’ – ‘Cymru Sanctaidd’ was launched by the UK’s church building support charity, to celebrate and raise awareness of Wales’ religious heritage.
Fifty churches and chapels were identified from the thousands across Wales for the special place they hold in people’s hearts and St Bridget, Skenfrith; St Martin, Cwmyoy; St Nicholas, Grosmont and St Sannan, Bedwellty were selected from the Diocese of Monmouth.
But who wins is down to you!
Vote for your favourite church at www.sacredwales.org.uk by 31 August.
