“We are in the place God wants us”

Revd Nigel Juckes was installed as Priest in Charge of Llandogo with Whitebrook Chapel and Tintern Parva by the Bishop of Monmouth, Rt Revd Richard Pain, in a special service on Wednesday evening.

Nigel, who has served in the Diocese of Natal for 38 years, led New Wine in South Africa for twenty years, and it is his relationship with this organisation which he says brought him and his wife, Ruth, to Wales.

“We were delighted to be offered this position in Llandogo and Tintern by Bishop Richard and believe that we are in the place God wants us and are looking forward to working with anĀ amazing team.” Nigel says, “The parishioners have been so warm and supportive.Ā  We are looking forward to continue learning and growing as we work with God and his people here.”
