We seek a self-motivated and organised heritage professional to join the Diocese of Monmouth staff. The successful candidate will assist parishes and Ministry Areas in finding appropriate solutions for church buildings which will meet the future needs of our congregations and communities whilst conserving and enhancing the significance of each building and place.
The Diocese of Monmouth has over 170 church buildings with 120 of these listed buildings. The DAC Secretary role is a part-time position responsible for shaping and administering the faculty process within the Diocese. The role is a key liaison between the Diocesan Advisory Committee, parishes and Consultees (CADW, Conservation Officers and Amenity Societies).
