Safe Church Safeguarding Training
Sat 3 November, 10.00 am
The training will be tailored to your role and the crucial work you do to safeguard children, young people and adults at risk within your parish or Ministry Area. It is centred around the Church in Wales Safeguarding policy, helping you to identify how to make our Churches a safe place to worship for everyone and what to do if you have a concern about someone. Therefore, even if you have previous training in Safeguarding it is important you attend this course. Once you have attended a session your certificate lasts you for 3 years.
Amelia Jarvis, Safeguarding Support Officer for the Monmouth Diocese is due to commence maternity leave in September and so colleagues from the safeguarding team will be delivering this provincial training and will be available to answer any questions you may have. It is anticipated that these will be the only sessions available to the diocese this year.
Places are limited and must be booked in advance
Booking can be done via Amelia Jarvis – Safeguarding Support Officer for the Monmouth Diocese: firstname.lastname@example.org or 07881 016185 (before 19th July). Places are available to book after the 19th July via email@example.com at the Monmouth diocese office.
