JAM ‘Jesus and Me’
Every 1st Sunday of each month, 11.00am in St. Cadoc’s, Raglan
Informal worship for the whole family.
‘Christ directing our understanding and lighting up our path’.
Every 2nd Thursday of each month, 7.30pm in Bettws Newydd Hall
Interactive learning session, exploring our journey with Christ and learning more about discipleship. These sessions are designed to create opportunities for us to ask those questions we really want to ask – about faith in God, about following Jesus, about responding to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, about being the disciple we are called to be, and about all those other ‘churchy’ things we feel we struggle with.
Deanery Mission Group
We are launching a Deanery Mission Group. This will be a chance to learn about engaging with our communities (drawing on the Mission Shaped Ministry course), a time to talk and pray, and an opportunity to get practically involved in new initiatives in this deanery. Please speak to your Ministry Area Leader to get involved.
Deanery Coffee Morning
At the 2009 Deanery conference it was decided to continue the annual Deanery charity coffee morning, which has been run for many years by the Llangwm group of parishes in support of St Luke’s Hospital, to support other charitable work. It was proposed that the coffee morning should take place on the first Saturday in November to be run by each Benefice in turn.
