The DBS have introduced temporary changes to ID checking guidelines as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.Please visit Guidance for checking identity of DBS applicantAs the Coronavirus situation develops, it is likely that staff involved in non-essential services will be required for other duties, may be required to self-isolate or may develop symptoms. We have therefore reluctantly decided to scale back support for two areas of work.DBS Checks: From Wednesday 18th March, we will temporarily be unable to process paper-based DBS checks and applications. We will resume normal services as soon as we are able to but, in the meantime, please refrain from sending paper forms and Disclosure Certificates to the Callaghan Square office.You can obtain further advice and guidance on DBS checks and processes by calling Alison Smith on 02920 348227 or you can email at alisonsmith@churchinwales.org.ukGift Aid: Gift Aid secretaries ordinarily receive a monthly letter advising them of contributions made within their parish. All donors also receive annual correspondence advising them of increments to their annual payments. For the duration of the current situation we will be unable to provide administrative support for this function. We will resume these services as soon as we are able to but please be advised that there will be no annual increment this calendar year.
